A dramatic fall sunset over the magnificent Sneffels Range, near Telluride/Ridgway. The peak in the center is the iconic Mount Sneffels (14,155’), known as 'The Queen of the San Juans’. I've climbed the peak three times - twice in the dark so that I could photograph sunrise from its summit. The summit view is one of the best in the state.

This image was created by stitching together five individual images, resulting in a detail-rich image that is best viewed as a large format fine art print. A quintessential fall scene in one of the most beautiful parts of Colorado.
