A visual journey to the top of the world, this collection captures the raw power, solitude, and beauty of Mount Everest — from base camp to summit. In May 2025, I successfully climbed Everest via the lesser-traveled Tibetan North Side over the course of 50 days. Very few photographs exist from this remote route, making the images in this collection especially rare and meaningful.
I've been fortunate to climb several 20,000-foot peaks in the Himalaya, including Mount Everest (29,032'), Ama Dablam (22,350'), Mera Peak (21,246'), Island Peak (20,305') and Lobuche East (20,075'). All of these peaks, including Everest, were climbed in the dark so that I could photograph sunrise from each summit. Those early hours, high above the world, offered some of the most unforgettable light I’ve ever witnessed.
