Life Viewed From The Edge

Opposed to photographing mountains from down low, I shoot where few dare to go: atop the highest peaks on Earth at first light. Climbing for hours in the night during month-long expeditions above 20,000 feet, I capture rare compositions in the most extreme environments on Earth—without the aid of drone or aircraft. In May 2025, I achieved my dream of photographing sunrise from the top of the world, atop the summit of Mount Everest.

Here's some behind the scenes footage showing what goes into these epic adventures. Viewer discretion advised if you're not a fan of heights!
