***Sunrise photographed from the summit of Mount Everest (29,032').*** I successfully climbed Mount Everest via the lesser-traveled Tibetan side over 50 days, one of just 48 foreign climbers. I spent 20 days above 20,000 feet, losing 10 pounds in the process—including several days in Everest’s infamous “death zone” above 26,000 feet, where oxygen levels are insufficient for survival—an experience defined by suffering and perseverance.

**On summit night (day 45), we departed at 10:30 p.m. and climbed for more than six hours through freezing darkness, passing nearly ten frozen bodies along the way.** We reached the summit at sunrise—a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Very few sunrise photographs exist from Everest’s summit, making this image especially rare and meaningful. Temperatures hovered 40 degrees below zero, and I passed climbers who had lost fingers and toes to frostbite. Managing photography gear in one of the harshest environments on Earth was incredibly challenging.

After summiting, we descended more than 8,000 vertical feet—including 10+ rappels—to reach Advanced Base Camp at 21,000 feet. In total, our summit push lasted 20 hours and remains the most physically and emotionally demanding day of my life.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Sherpa team—the backbone of the mountain. Their strength, skill, and sacrifice made this achievement possible.

**I lost my mother to cancer at 25, and four years later, at 29, I made this climb in her honor. At the summit, the final thing I did was spread her ashes—a moment I will carry with me forever.**

**With the recent loss of my father, I now hope to one day return to Everest and honor him in the same way.**
